OUR TRANSLATORS
The Ashland/Plymouth translator on 96.9FM has been switched over to receive the new 91.5FM signal thereby eliminating the noise that once accompanied the signal. Announcements heard on WVNH last year indicating the 104.3FM translator in Concord was to be retired at the end of 2008 prompted emails and calls to the station voicing concern that listeners would not be able to receive WVNH programming. This resulted in a reevaluation. We are happy to report that 104.3 not only remains on the air but the signal has been strengthened in the western section of Concord where the 91.1 signal was weak. A special thanks to the saints and leadership at Concord Bible Fellowship, the licensee of the 104.3 translator, for their help in keeping this important extension of WVNH on the air.
The WVNH Laconia translator at 96.1FM will remain and continue its duty to NH’s largest lake city.
The WVNH Barnstead translator at 103.9FM has moved into new service for Concord’s premier news station, WKXL, NH Family Radio.
